This is the power of photography — the ability to capture the connections we have with each other, and then honor and remember it no matter how much time goes by.
Do photographers photograph all year you ask? We do! During winter, our off-season, photographers get to have fun and get to create and use our imagination by planning or attending wedding editorials, including this one hosted by EP x MB Collective. This beautiful editorial was at The Videre Estate in Wimberley, Texas. It may be quite the drive from Austin, but when I tell you that the this venue is breathtaking, well I have the photos to prove it. As soon as you walk in the main hall, the warmth and glow of natural light embraces you. This room is every photographer’s dream, making even the gloomiest rainy days a bright one.
We started off by photographing beautiful vignettes set up by Danielle with Dwell In The Details. She set up a champagne tower and a sweetheart table that was delicately adorned with pearls, fruits, and florals. Her design was absolutely romantic and every detail was perfectly placed on tables with drapery that made everything look flawless. The decor perfectly fit the Greene House Photo vibe and I could not get enough of the details.
If you’ve followed my journey, you know that photographing flatlays is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day. It’s the best way to start the day, because it jump starts my creativity and lets me highlight the works of other wedding vendors. I’m always in awe of what stationers can create and how they provide and insight to guests what to expect for the couple’s big day. Dear Margo Designs did not disappoint and created this stunning set for this editorial. It included hand drawn details with olives, calla lilies, and bows, I mean, how cute?
In the afternoon, we were able to photograph the bride and groom! I was able to take advantage of the different spaces that they have to offer. We started off in the main hall, the deck (which could be used for ceremonies or cocktail hours), and their grand walkway. The sun was out and ready to play and you could find me trying to chase it. I even brought the couple to the hallway where the sun was beaming and creating beautiful shadows that I could not resist.
Capturing the beauty at this venue was absolutely magical. I love exploring new venues and having fun creating art with other wedding vendors. If you’re planning your dream wedding in Austin, Texas, I’d love the opportunity to tell your story and let your love shine. Contact me so we can start planning your own wedding!
