This is the power of photography — the ability to capture the connections we have with each other, and then honor and remember it no matter how much time goes by.
If you’re searching for the best Baltimore engagement photo locations, you’re in the right place! One of the questions I get asked most often as a Baltimore engagement photographer is, “Where should we take our Boston engagement photos?”
The truth is, the best engagement session location isn’t always the most popular one. It’s the one that feels most like you! Whether that’s strolling through a historic neighborhood, grabbing a drink at your favorite bar, wandering through a garden, or exploring a place that’s meaningful to your relationship, your engagement session should tell your story.
Baltimore offers no shortage of beautiful locations for engagement photos. From iconic city landmarks to charming neighborhoods and hidden gems, there’s truly something for every couple. Here are some of my favorite Baltimore engagement photo locations and what makes each one special.

Mount Vernon is one of my favorite Baltimore engagement session locations because it offers so much variety within a relatively small area. The historic architecture, charming streets, and beautiful monuments create a timeless backdrop that feels distinctly Baltimore.
Shannon and Zach’s engagement session perfectly showcased why I love this area so much. We explored the elegant stone architecture, tree-lined streets, and quieter corners that felt intimate and romantic.
For couples who want a classic city feel without the hustle and bustle of downtown, Mount Vernon is always a great choice.

If you’re dreaming of flowers, color, and a more romantic garden setting, Sherwood Gardens is hard to beat. Known for its seasonal blooms and beautiful landscaping, this location feels especially magical in the spring. The gardens provide a softer, more organic backdrop while still feeling elegant and timeless. For couples who love nature but want something a little more curated than a traditional park setting, Sherwood Gardens offers the perfect balance.
If you’re looking for a location that feels lush and romantic without leaving the city, Rawlings Conservatory is a beautiful option. One of the things I love most about this location is the variety it offers. Couples can take advantage of both the surrounding gardens and pathways as well as the stunning conservatory interiors.
Carmen and Corey’s session took place on the grounds outside the conservatory. Even on a rainy day, we were surrounded by beautiful scenery. But the conservatory itself is equally beautiful, with light-filled glass structures and tropical plant collections that can bring a completely different feel to an engagement session.

And of course, the inside is just as stunning as the outside, so here is a quick look at the magic of inside the Rawlings Conservatory to help you get inspired for your engagement session:

Some of my favorite engagement sessions happen in places that hold personal meaning for a couple. Maybe it’s the restaurant where you had your first date, the neighborhood coffee shop you visit every weekend, or the cocktail bar where you’ve celebrated countless milestones together. A recent engagement photo session at Bloom’s perfectly captured this idea.
If you’re struggling to choose a location, ask yourself where you naturally spend time together. Sometimes the most meaningful locations make for the best engagement photos!

As Baltimore locals know, Camden Yards is one of the most iconic locations in the city. My husband and I love going to Orioles games, and there’s something so fun about incorporating a shared hobby or interest into an engagement session. For couples who love baseball, sports, or simply spending summer evenings cheering on the Orioles together, Camden Yards would make such a memorable backdrop.

When deciding on an engagement session location, I always encourage couples to think beyond aesthetics.
Ask yourselves:
The goal is to choose a location that helps tell your story!

One of the best parts of planning an engagement session is choosing a location that reflects your relationship. Whether that’s a historic Baltimore neighborhood, a beautiful garden, your favorite cocktail bar, or somewhere completely unexpected, the right location makes it all the more memorable.
