What is your approach on wedding days?

Personally, I like to do as much planning as possible before your wedding day. We’ll talk through your priorities, family dynamics, timeline, and any moments that are especially meaningful to you so that when the day arrives, you can focus on being fully present.

During the wedding itself, I try to be as unobtrusive as possible. I want you laughing with your friends, hugging your grandparents, and soaking in every moment without feeling like you’re constantly posing for the camera. Of course, I’ll provide direction during family photos and portraits, along with gentle prompts whenever they’re helpful, but my goal is always to create images that feel genuine and natural.

How do you ensure our photos are safe?

This is one of the most important questions you can ask! Wedding days can’t be recreated, so your photographer should have multiple layers of protection in place for your images.

My workflow includes several safeguards:

• I always bring two professional camera bodies to every wedding.
• My cameras record every image to two memory cards simultaneously using dual card slots.
• I never erase memory cards until your gallery has been fully delivered.
• Your images are backed up to secure storage after your wedding.

Having multiple backups at every stage provides peace of mind that your memories are protected.

Do you offer a second photographer?

A second photographer can make a huge difference in the overall coverage of your wedding day. My 8-hour and 10-hour collections both include a second photographer because it allows us to tell a more complete story. While I’m photographing one part of the day, a second photographer may be capturing your partner getting ready, guests arriving, or candid moments happening elsewhere.

It also gives you multiple perspectives throughout the day, resulting in a gallery that feels even more complete. And while it’s something no one ever hopes to think about, having another professional photographer present also provides an additional layer of support if something unexpected were to happen.

Can you share a full wedding gallery?

This is a question I wish more couples knew to ask. Social media naturally showcases a photographer’s favorite images, but your wedding gallery will include hundreds of photographs, not just the highlights.

Looking through a full gallery allows you to see how a photographer captures every part of a wedding day, from getting ready through the reception. You’ll get a better understanding of their consistency, storytelling, and how they handle different lighting situations and moments throughout the day.

A beautiful Instagram feed is wonderful, but a consistently beautiful gallery is even more important.

What are the next steps after booking?

Knowing what happens after you book can help you feel confident and excited throughout the planning process. After our consultation, booking is simple. A signed contract and 30% retainer officially reserve your wedding date on my calendar.

From there, we’ll continue getting to know one another. If your collection includes an engagement session (or you’d like to add one), it’s a wonderful opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. Most couples leave their engagement session saying how much more relaxed they feel about wedding photos afterward.

As your wedding gets closer, we’ll connect again to build your photography timeline, discuss family photo lists, and make sure every important detail has been thoughtfully planned.

Your wedding gallery is delivered through an easy-to-use online gallery where you can relive your day whenever you’d like.

You’ll be able to:

• Download both high-resolution and web-sized images.
• Share your gallery with family and friends.
• Download your images as many times as you’d like.
• Easily share your favorite moments on social media (and don’t forget to tag your amazing vendor team!).

The goal is to make enjoying and sharing your memories as simple as possible!
